Getting Excited May 02 2014

Andrew Nedimyer and all of us at [BUZZ] creative are excited for our opening show with an exciting new photography Artist, Lou D'aprile. She is bringing us a very anthropological show entitled,The Male Aesthetic. She is giving us a peek inside the morning activities of some of Seattle's most handsome gentlemen. Each model reenacts their grooming process into the camera as if it were a mirror.  This is contrasted with polaroids of them after completion.  “Women invest so much time into their appearance while men are ready after a few rapid gestures,” D’aprile explained. “The beauty in the simplicity and universal nature of the ritual.  I tried to document this in the video where as the polaroids capture the distinct personalities of each model.” 

We have even garnered the attention of the The Stranger. We are going to be featured on their cover page for the week of June 13th! Be sure to check it out.
