ARTIST: Benjamin Eisman

The cyanotype process starts with poison. When the toxic chemical Cyanide is bonded with Iron it not only becomes a light sensitive photographic medium but also looses its murderous properties. Through this body of work, Benjamin Eisman attempts to explore what it means to come from a painful or toxic beginnings and then grow into something beautiful.
